  • Comment: I would have thought these would hold up better. The color faded almost immediately and they are not at all as soft as 600 thread count should be.

  • Comment: I was really surprised to find that a 600 thread count sheet would be so scratchy! I laundered them before use and had a hard time sleeping in them they were so scratchy. I laundered them again using fabric softner with little if any improvement. Maybe if they got laundered 15-20 times they might soften up but I didn't feel like losing that much sleep trying.

  • Comment: I ordered these standard pillowcases in addition to the two king cases that came with the sheet set. It's really strange that they seem to be made of a different fabric than the king cases--thicker and stiffer? After a couple of washings, they're beginning to soften but they're quite different from the king cases. Still a good value.

  • Comment: While still very nice, the 2-pillowcase set that I ordered, in addition to the sheet set, does not seem to be made of the same fabric. It is a little more stiff and not as soft. I assume that it will soften through repeated washings. Even with this difference, we are happy with the purchase.
